Level 1 – Head to Toe Foundations Course
This course covers Rossiter Stretching Level 1, providing the essential foundation and safety protocols every coach needs to begin using this powerful pain-relief technique confidently and effectively.
By the end of the Level 1 Foundations course, you’ll be able to:
- Understand the role of connective tissue and how it relates to the key principles of the Rossiter System.
- Recognize important cautions and contraindications to ensure safe application of Rossiter Stretching.
- Perform and record the foundational Level 1 stretches with consistency and care to improve client flexibility, mobility, and reduce structural pain.
- Safely use Rossiter tools including the chair, stands, and poles during sessions.
- Coach clients through each stretch, using clear and supportive guidance.
- Create effective, individualized sessions by considering client history, fitness level, and real-time feedback and observation.

Level 2 – More Power – More Techniques Foundations Course
Rossiter Stretching Level 2 is the second in a four-level certification series, building on the foundational techniques learned in Level 1. This course introduces enhanced, head-to-toe protocols that are more powerful and client-specific—designed to deliver deeper results with precision and care.
Through hands-on instruction and guided practice, you’ll refine your skills, improve your body mechanics, and gain confidence in applying more advanced techniques safely and effectively.
By the end of Level 2, you’ll be able to:
- Safely and consistently perform Rossiter techniques using your feet while maintaining proper posture and body mechanics.
- Identify key “Gold Spots” in the connective tissue system to maximize pain relief and mobility.
- Expand upon Level 1 techniques for greater impact and faster results with your clients.
- Work confidently with clients who’ve had surgeries or injections, and know how to reverse techniques if discomfort increases.
- Understand how tightness in the abdominal cavity can affect other areas of the body—and how to address it.
- Sharpen your ability to observe movement patterns and client feedback to guide session direction and timing.
- Understand the importance of walking clients after lower body work to balance, integrate, and assess results.
- Apply both the “Hard and Powerful” and “Smooth and Easy” foot techniques appropriately.
- Properly position clients on their side and use a support pole safely while applying weight and maintaining posture.
- Improve your coaching language and cues to better guide your clients through each stretch.
- Increase your efficiency and confidence by integrating technique patterning tailored to each client’s needs.
- Receive instructor feedback and peer calibrations to ensure competence and precision with every move.

Level 3 – Speed, Agility & Consistency Intermediate Course

An Intermediate Course to Take Your Skills to the Next Level
Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1 & 2
This Level 3 course is designed for practitioners ready to build on their foundational knowledge with faster, more targeted techniques, improved efficiency, and enhanced client-specific programming. You’ll refine your use of the Rossiter System to help clients out of pain more quickly—while protecting your own body through smarter mechanics and advanced application.
By the end of Level 3, you will be able to:
- Review and expand your knowledge of connective tissue function and fascial release, using advanced techniques like the Gold Spot and the newly introduced Opposite Side Foot (OSF) for added power and precision.
- Apply new, more specific Rossiter Stretches using your feet to help clients find relief with greater consistency, safety, and effectiveness—all while practicing optimal body mechanics.
- Incorporate progressive, freestyle movement into client sessions, guiding them through more dynamic and responsive techniques.
- Utilize Rossiter tools like stands and poles to support proper form, safety, and technique control.
- Safely integrate multiple stands to maintain your own alignment and direct clients quickly into correct positioning, including new side-lying stretches.
- Understand new contraindications specific to Level 3 stretches—especially related to tissue response following cortisone injections—and make informed decisions in session planning.
- Enhance your client-specific programming through refined observation skills, open-ended dialogue, and consideration of each client’s medical history and fitness level.
- Develop effective coaching patterns for each new stretch to confidently lead clients through every session.

Level 4 – More Specific – More Precise Advanced Course
Rossiter Level 4: Precision, Mastery & Certification
Prerequisite: Completion of Levels 1–3
In Level 4, it’s all about precision and mastery. You’ll refine your skills to deliver Rossiter workouts that are not only fast and effective, but also tailored with pinpoint accuracy to your clients’ needs. This final level builds on everything you’ve learned so far, helping you gain confidence, efficiency, and measurable results in less time.
At the conclusion of this course, you’ll complete a practical exam, along with an optional written exam (taken online for a small fee). Upon successful completion of both, you’ll earn the title of Certified Rossiter Coach.
By the end of Level 4, you will be able to:
- Fully understand and apply “the lock” to effectively engage connective tissue and maximize fascial release. You’ll review and practice locks for upper body, lower body, face-up, face-down, and standing techniques.
- Learn 25–30 new advanced techniques, continuing to build on your ability to maintain proper body mechanics and utilize tools like stands and poles for safe, powerful application.
- Design highly effective, individualized client sessions based on observation, open-ended questioning, fitness levels, and medical history.
- Develop speed and proficiency by combining new and previously learned techniques into smooth, client-centered sequences.
- Demonstrate mastery of Levels 1–4 with at least 70% proficiency on both the written and practical exams.
